Ok, that was fun

The day was grey and occasionally drippy. In between the drips, I gave Argent his spring cleaning, while inside the house, I did some laundry, and with the full cooperation of [info]kinzel, took a lengthy and may I say very satisfying nap. This put the other chores of the day somewhat behind, but, as they say in my country -- So what?

The scene that I have been wanting to write for the last 40-odd-thousand words has been written. I hope that Future Readers(tm) will find it as amusing to read as I did to write. It's nice when the author's glee in a scene is both justified and transmitted. For the rest of it, I fear me that my sense of humor, never actually much more than moist, has become far too dry for general consumption. I suppose that's what comes of living in Maine.

Hope y'all had a good Whatever It Is You Celebrate, If Anything, Day.
